Experienced Window & Door Installer

Eco-Lyfe Windows & Doors — Nashville, TN
Starting Pay: $23–$29 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Job Type: Full-time, W-2 employee
Location: Job sites throughout the Nashville area

About Us

We’re a small window and door installation company in Nashville looking for an experienced installer to join our crew. Our work includes custom new homes, window and door replacements, and commercial projects.

We care about doing the work correctly, including the details that get covered up. We want someone who takes that seriously, works well with others, and is willing to keep learning.

One of the things we enjoy about this work is seeing the difference when a project is finished. Sometimes it’s replacing a worn-out window in someone’s home. Other times it’s installing the windows and doors throughout a large custom home. It’s rewarding to look back at a finished project and know you had a part in it.

What It’s Like Working Here

You’ll work alongside our Crew Lead and the rest of the team. We expect everyone to stay productive, help each other, and take care of the customer’s property. Careful work matters here, and we appreciate people who notice details and speak up when something isn’t right.

We install a variety of products, so there’s plenty to learn. You don’t need to know every brand before you start. You do need to be willing to read the instructions, ask questions when needed, and learn our installation methods.

We also want people to have room to grow. We review performance quarterly and discuss what you’re doing well, what needs improvement, and what skills or responsibilities would help you earn more.

Pay & Benefits

  • $23–$29 per hour to start. We’ll agree on your rate before you accept the job.
  • Quarterly performance reviews with opportunities for raises based on skills and performance.
  • Paid training.
  • Company-provided tools.
  • Fuel reimbursement under company policy.
  • Six paid holidays after 90 days for eligible full-time employees: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
  • PTO for eligible full-time employees: 40 hours per year after one year and 56 hours per year after two years .
  • Opportunity to advance to Master Installer as you develop the skills to complete projects, solve installation problems, and follow through without routine oversight. This role also requires InstallationMasters certification.

Benefits are subject to company policies and eligibility requirements. Reviews do not guarantee a raise or promotion.

What You’ll Do

  • Install windows and exterior doors on new-construction and replacement projects.
  • Measure and check openings, prepare work areas, and protect surrounding surfaces.
  • Remove existing windows and doors carefully.
  • Set, shim, fasten, and adjust units for proper alignment and operation.
  • Install flashing, insulation, and sealants according to manufacturer instructions and project requirements.
  • Install hardware, jamb extensions, and trim as your experience allows.
  • Check your work and bring problems to the Crew Lead’s attention.
  • Help teammates and keep tools, materials, and job sites organized.
  • Upload job photos and complete time records and job notes.
  • Follow safety procedures and treat customers and other trades respectfully.

What We’re Looking For

  • Hands-on experience installing windows and/or doors.
  • Ability to handle familiar installation tasks without step-by-step instruction.
  • Accurate measuring skills and experience using hand and power tools.
  • Someone who shows up on time, communicates clearly, and follows through.
  • Willingness to accept feedback and take responsibility for their work.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
  • Ability to safely handle the physical work, including lifting materials, using ladders, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to complete OSHA 10 training within your first 30 days.

Experience with new construction, full-frame replacements, finish carpentry, flashing, or door troubleshooting is helpful. We understand that everyone’s background is different—tell us what you’ve installed and what you’re comfortable doing.

Schedule

  • Approximately 40–48 hours per week, with availability Monday through Saturday.
  • Typical start times are around 7:00 a.m. Monday–Friday and 8:00 a.m. when scheduled on Saturday.
  • You will not be required to work more than 48 hours per week.

All new hires complete a 90-day introductory period so we can evaluate performance, reliability, and how well the position fits.

How to Apply

Apply through this posting with your work history and a brief description of your window and door experience. Photos of projects you’ve worked on are welcome.
